The R.A.I.N. One Stop Program is literally a one-stop location where older adult Bronx residents over the age of 60 are able to receive assistance and information regarding a wide range of benefits and entitlements such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance, Medicaid, Medicare Extra Help, Medicare Savings Program, Senior Citizen Rent Exemption Increase, Home Energy Assistance Program, Lifeline Discount, NYC-210 School Tax Credit, IT-214 Renter’s Credit, and others.
R.A.I.N. One-Stop also helps older adults navigate various governmental systems, provides assistance with entitlement/benefits appeals, as well as information and referrals to link older adults to other resources such as housing and other community-based services.
